Tim Lincecum only played in 9 games for the Angels this season before they recently designated him for assignment. In those 9 games, The Freak went 2-6 with a 9.16 ERA.
It’s a shame to see this happen to Lincecum, who had been so undeniably good in his early career. For a guy who achieved so much in his career, you hate to see him fall apart at only 32 years of age. I guess some guys just don’t have it in them to pitch consistently over their entire stretch at the professional level.
