Kramer Robertson of LSU is one of the most recognizable faces in college baseball this year. Probably more popular for his look and his vintage “swag” on the diamond. He’s what you’d consider a dirtbag I guess. Yes, that’s an endearing term in the baseball world. LSU took on Baylor in Houston at Minute Maid Park on Saturday, and Robertson made what might be the catch of the year so far.
Everyone wants to compare this catch to Derek Jeter’s classic dive into the stands, but in my opinion, this one is better. Jeter caught a pop up then went diving into the stands.

Still an impressive catch, until you see what Kramer Robertson did Saturday. The LSU SS went OVER his teammate to catch this pop up WHILE diving into the stands. One hell of a play from the dirtbag.
Oh my word…
LSU SS Kramer Robertson goes all Jeter on us for the AMAZING catch!! #SCTop10

In 12 games this season, Robertson is hitting .366 with 4 doubles, a triple, and a HR. Good for a SLG% of .585 and OB% of .471. Definitely one of the players to watch this college baseball season.
