On Monday night against the Rangers, Angels rookie outfielder Ji-Man Choi hit the first home run of his career which closed the gap to within one run, and the Angels eventually rallied back to win the game 9-5.
As always, the rite of passage in baseball dictates that the rookie must receive the silent treatment from his teammates after hitting his first home run, and he took it like a champ. To be fair, however, it helps to have supportive imaginary friends.
Man, I wish I had friends like that. There’s nobody I’d rather celebrate my first MLB home run with more than those I’ve been hanging with my entire life, ya know? Ji-Man Choi style.
