The Giants and Padres went into extra innings and were up 6-5 going into the bottom of the 10th after Buster Posey hit a solo home run to put them ahead of the Padres.
Unfortunately for the Giants, with Santiago Casilla on the mound, anything is possible. By that, I mean impending disaster.
In the bottom of the 10th, Casilla gave up three straight singles to Alex Dickerson, Derek Norris and Adam Rosales, the latter hitting an RBI single to tie the game up again. Then the unthinkable happened.

A walk off balk… With Alexei Ramirez at bat and Norris at third base, Casilla stumbled off the mound while attempted to pitch and tried to recover anyway, but Norris was waved in and the game was over.
Casilla has blown five saves now, and as if Giants fans haven’t been fed up enough with him, this should take the cake. I can already hear them begging Bruce Bochy to make Sergio Romo the closer.
