DraftKings MLB Lineup 8-19-2015

Noah Syndergaard: $10,200, @ Baltimore- Syndergaard is a little more pricey option but with a high K potential and ability to go deep into the game I like the play.

Jamie Garcia: $10,300, vs. San Fran- All of the upper tier pitchers tonight are going up against tough matchups.  The Giants are in the lower half of the league against left handed pitching.

Nathan Karns: $7,700, @ Houston- Karns matchup isn’t as good as Garcia’s but he’s priced lower and has a higher K/9.

Also consider- Jered Weaver

Kyle Schwarber: $4,700- Whats not to love about this young stud?  With all the power in the world and the Cubs looking for revenge for last night, look for a big day from Schwarber.

Russell Martin: $3,600- There aren’t a ton of great catchers on tonights late slate.  Look to save some money in Martin going against a bad Philly starter in Adam Morgan.

Also consider: Yadier Molina, Buster Posey

1st Base

Miguel Cabrera: $4,800- Miggey came with in inches of his second homer off the DL last night.  I see another big offensive night tonight in Wrigley.  Look for Miggey to be a the heart of it.

Paul Goldschmidt: $5,400- First base is stacked tonight but Goldschmidt has a great matchup against J.A. Happ.  He has a great 1.166 OPS.

Also consider: Joey Votto

2nd Base

Anthony Rendon: $4,100- Anytime Rendon faces a lefty I’m all in on him.  Especially when he’s playing in Coors, like tonight.

Kolten Wong: $3,400- Wong has been struggling recently making him available at a great price.  Also Matt Cain has been horrible against lefties.  Making Wonger a good play.

Also consider: Ryan Goins

3rd Base

Kris Bryant: $4,700- Bryant has been putting up good numbers for the last 10 days.  He is more than good enough to be played against a below average Daniel Norris tonight.

Todd Frazier: $4,700- It’s weird that a guy with 29 home runs is priced this low.  Don’t complain about it though.  Though he is not facing a lefty tonight he is way above average versus righties.

Also consider: Matt Carpenter, strongly consider Josh Donaldson if you can afford him

Troy Tulowitzki: $4,600- Tulo is great against lefties and he is facing a bad one tonight.  Tulo is always a safe play in that Bluejay lineup.

Jhonny Peralta: $3,600- If you’re looking to spend money in other plays Peralta is a good, cheap play.

Also consider: Starlin Castro, Brandon Crawford

Jayson Werth: $3,300- Werth may be batting leadoff which warrants spending the $3,300.  That extra at bat in Coors could be huge.

Starling Marte: $4,600- Marte has a great OPS of just under .900 against south paws.  Marte draws Robbie Ray tonight who is just an average pitcher. 3 factors make Marte a good play tonight.

Dexter Fowler: $4,800 –

  1. He’s good against lefties.
  2. He will be at the top of the order.
  3. He hardly ever strikes out.

Also consider: Jorge Soler, Stephen Piscotty, Brandon Moss
