DraftKings MLB Lineup 8-17-2015

USA Today

Gerrit Cole: $11,200, vs. Arizona- With a small slate of games you need to find someone that is a lock tonight. Cole is a 9 K/9 guy with a great matchup opposing Jeremy Hellickson.

Michael Wacha: $10,100, vs. SF- As I said before with a small slate of games Wacha is close to a sure bet, averaging 19 DraftKing points.

Andrew Heaney: $8,600, vs CWS- If you’re looking for a lower cost and high potential go for Heaney.  Heaney has the shot to be great. All depends if you want to take the risk.

Also consider: Sonny Gray, Chris Heston

Jonathan Lucroy: $3,300- Lucroy has an .844 OPS against left handed pitching.  He faces Marlins, Justin Nicolino who holds a horrible 4 K/9.

Brian McCann: $4,600- McCann is todays safe pick.  He leads catchers in homers, while facing a low level pitcher in Kyle Gibson.

Also consider: Stephen Vogt, Yadier Molina

1st Base

Carlos Santana: $4,200- Santana is playing for his spot in the Indians lineup.  Look for him to prove his worth tonight.

Mark Teixeira: $4,800- I think Teixeira has been crushing the ball lately.  He just has had some tough luck.  I think luck will go back his way tonight.

Also consider: Albert Pujols, Pedro Alvarez

2nd Base

Jose Ramirez: $3,300- Offense has been exploding lately in Fenway.  This trend will continue Monday night because the Indians face Matt Barnes (no not that Matt Barnes).

Brian Dozier: $4,400- Dozier is in a level all by himself tonight.  His 25 homers are over double the next closest guy.

Also consider: Johnny Giavotella, Neil Walker

3rd Base

Evan Longoria: $3,800- Longoria will be going up against Scott Kazmir.  This might scare others off but Longoria is a great grab today.

Miguel Sano: $4,400- Sano has a huge K% but his OPS is .900+.  With his matchup against Bryan Mitchell tonight I think he has a chance to go deep.

Also consider: Trevor Plouffe

Jhonny Peralta: $3,800- Peralta has been great this year coming of a days rest.  With his usual Sunday off yesterday look for an explosive Monday.

Jean Segura: $3,500- Shortstop is weak today but Segura has potential against a good matchup.  Worth a cheap play.

Also consider: Fransisco Lindor

Mike Trout: $5,000- Mike Trout for $5,000?  That’s a steal getting the best player in the game for that much.  No matter what night it is.

Ryan Braun: $4,600- After a great Sunday I see him keeping it up Monday.  If you cant afford Trout, try Braun.

JJ Reddick: $4,000- A pretty big name with a pretty low price.  If you’re looking for a solid 2-3 outfielder go Reddick.

Also consider: Colby Rasmus, Carlos Beltran, Jason Heyward
