Francisco Liriano, vs. STL: $9,300- On Opening Day hitting is often behind the pitching. The Cardinals lineup doesn’t scare me, especially with Tommy Pham hitting 2 hole. That only increases Liriano’s K potential.
Chris Archer, vs. TOR: $9,400- Yeah he’s facing a tough task in the Toronto lineup, but he’s still Chris Archer. Look for a lot of K’s to rack up a high point total.
Travis d’Arnaud, @KC: $3,600- The Kansas City starting pitching is why I really like this play. d’Arnaud is one of the most underrated catchers in the game in my opinion.
Lucas Duda, @KC: $4,200- Same thing as Travis, plus a huge HR potential today.
Neil Walker, @KC: $4,100- I love Neil Walker in this Mets lineup. You’ll be seeing his name on here a lot after today.
Brad Miller, vs. TOR: $3,200- On a day without a ton of exciting SS options, Miller is at the top of my list.
Evan Longoria, vs TOR: $3,400- In a small sample size, Longo is 3/5 off of the Jays Opening Day Starter, Marcus Stroman.
Curtis Granderson, @KC: $4,500
Yoenis Cespedes, @KC: $4,600- Pair this with the Granderson projection, look for both to make a statement after the disappointing World Series lose last year.
Corey Dickerson, vs TOR: $3,500- Pretty cheap for Dickerson today in my opinion, look for him to show Tampa Bay why they wanted him.
