Jacob DeGrom – 2nd best SIERA, FIP and xFIP of pitchers throwing tonight, only behind Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw is obviously a good play if you can afford him, but he is too expensive for me to talk about. DeGrom gets to face the Rockies, who have hit RHP well, but are playing away from Coors field, so the park adjustment gives the advantage to DeGrom.

Gerrit Cole – today is a day to spend up on pitching and Cole is one of the safest options to pick. He has a K% of 25% with a SIERA and xFIP right around 3. This Cardinals offense does not scare me away from Cole

Also: Kershaw, Salazar, Odorizzi

Kyle Schwarber – .472 wOBA against RHP, while Matt Garza allows a .323 wOBA to LHH

Yan Gomes – C.C. Sabathia is a pitcher to target with RHH and Gomes has hit lefties well in his career and should be hitting in the middle of a hot Indians lineup

Also: John Jaso, Russell Martin

Prince Fielder – there are a lot of options at first base tonight, but I really like Prince Fielder. Mike Pelfrey is terrible against all hitters, but especially LHH. Prince has always hit righties well and this year is no different as he owns a .403 wOBA against them this season.

Adrian Gonzalez – Jordan Zimmerman has been hit hard by lefties and A-Gon has a .390 wOBA against RHP this year.

Also- Albert Pujols, Jose Abreu, Chris Johnson, James Loney, Eric Hosmer

Ben Zobrist – gets to face Daniel Norris who did not fare well in his last start and allows a .326 wOBA to RHH. Zobrist should hit at the top of the order and the Royals should score some runs today. Zobrist is my favorite play on the Royals as he has hit LHP very well throughout his career. .405 wOBA vs LHP in 2015

Jose Ramirez – I do not like the second base position tonight so I will probably go with a cheap option. Jose Ramirez is a good play at his cheap price point. He will hit right handed against CC Sabathia and has been swinging a hot bat with a hit in 6 straight games

Kris Bryant – Hits well at home and against RHP. Garza allows a .327 wOBA to RHH. Bryant has hit 12 of his 15 homers at Wrigley Field and I think he has a decent chance to add to that total tonight

Chris Johnson – the move to Cleveland is proving to be a good one for Chris Johnson. He is swinging a hot bat and is 7-9 as an Indian and has a great matchup tonight against Sabathia. Johnson has a career .337 wOBA and we already talked about how bad Sabathia is against RHH.

Also: Josh Donaldson, Carlos Santana,

Troy Tulowitzki – If you want to pay up at SS, Tulo is the only good option. Any Blue Jays hitter is almost always in play when they are playing at the Rogers Centre.

Jose Ramirez/Francisco Lindor – both face CC Sabathia, hit in the top of the order of a hot offense that should score some runs tonight, and are cheap.

Mike Trout – Trout facing a lefty, that’s all that needs to be said, but that lefty is also John Danks. Expect a big day from Trout.

Chris Colabello – Good way to get cheap exposure to the Blue Jays lineup. He hits RHP well as he owns a .373 wOBA against them. Should hit in the middle of the order and should have RBI opportunities unless Bautista drives them all in himself.

Dexter Fowler – good salary relief option as Matt Garza struggles against LHH and Fowler has a ,308 wOBA against RHP, which is decent. Hits in the lead off spot and the Cubs should score some runs and Fowler should be a big part of it.

Also: Jose Bautista, Juan Lagares, Grady Sizemore, Chris Coghlan, Shin-Soo Choo, Delino Deshields Jr., Eddie Rosario, Lorenzo Cain
