In the third inning at home tonight against the Cardinals, Brewers’ P Jimmy Nelson took a line drive to the head off the bat of Tommy Pham. The ball was clocked at 108mph off the bat. Think about just how fast that is. That’s worse than taking an Aroldis Chapman fastball off your head, WITHOUT A HELMET.

He was able to walk off the field under his own power, but still a scary moment. He will receive CT scans at the hospital. This is one of a pitcher’s worst nightmares. Hopefully he recovers well and soon.
