To be honest, I wasn’t much of a reader throughout my baseball career, and some of you might not be either. I was always the one too cool to read books. With all that I’ve learned in life and business through books the last couple years, let me be the one to tell you to crack one open once in a while. Believe it or not, there are books out there that are interesting, fun, and productive to read. It’s just the boring awful ones written in old. English are the ones they save to make you read in school.
If baseball is so much of a mental game, and you work hours every day on your physical game, how much time are you spending on your mental game?
It was my sophomore year of college when I got my hands on 10 Minute Toughness and I can’t tell you how bad I wish I found it sooner. I saw immediate changes in the way I prepared for games and workouts after implementing the strategies in this book.
“The mental side of the game is extremely important. 10 Minute Toughness helps players develop the mental toughness needed for success; it really makes a difference.”
–Walt Jocketty: GM 2006 World Champion St. Louis Cardinals
